Over the last couple of weeks , I've been hacking away at the new WOLF4SDL source code, and thanks to Ripper, and theFish, I've been able to release two tutorials that many people have been dying to get their hands on to...

These two tutorials, contain tons of changes to the code, and one should backup their source codes before attempting them, but enough of that let me tell you which tutorials are now available.

The first tutorial that is now available is a tutorial that will allow you to add Blake Stone style doors to the code, and the second allows you to add Wall Patches. These two tutorials can be found on the tutorials page, underneath the "Wolf4SDL source code tutorials" heading. Both of these tutorials were originally written by Adam Biser for the iD Software's Wolfenstein 3D source code.

I'm hoping to be able to release other tutorials soon for the SDL code, but until next time enjoy...

The last couple of days I've been really busy not only with the site, but with work and studies, but the big updates to the site are site changes, several page updates, and yet another project annoucement. Let me first get to the annoucement...

In the last couple of weeks I've been creating my own engine, using the Wolf4SDL engine. An engine that'll be using for my own Wolfenstein mods that'll be available in the future. At a later stage I'll even use it to help other fellow Wolf modders in creating mods of their own, for more info on this engine, you can head over to it's page via the projects page...

Apart from the annoucement of my new engine that I'm going to be creating, I've made a couple changes to the site, some of which are easily noticable (hopefully you've noticed the new website logo), and some of which you'll notice over time. As for the page updates, I redid the projects page & even added couple new pages (all of which you'll be able to access via the projects page)...well until next time take care...

I've made plenty updates regard the site in the last couple of days, but the most recent update is that I have a couple new source code tutorials available, all of which can be found on the tutorials page.

One of the most recently added tutorial is a tutorial that will show you how to add new sounds to the Wolf4SDL engine, it should solve a lot of problems that people have been having regarding adding extra sounds to the SDL engine.

I should be able to post a tutorial on how to add Blake Stone style doors by the end of the weekend...

During the next couple of weeks, the site will be unaccessable due to site maintenance. During these times the forums shall be reorganised as well as certain pages of the certain altered.

Along with these alterations, I'll be adding an extra addition to the tutorial page, for those who'd like to edit the Wolf4SDL engine, which was created by Ripper of Chaos Software ("http://www.chaos-software.de.vu/").

For the past couple of months I've been really busy, and I haven't had much time do any updates to the site, and as you can see I've finaly rearranged the site, as well as make plenty of changes regarding the looking. In the last couple of days, most of you could see that I had been experimenting with the site logo, as well as improving the visual look on certain parts of the site.

Among those changes, I've added a new page to menu above, which you'll find all the tutorials, that are written by my on that page. Which ultimately means that I'll be moving the tutorial ("Haasboy Software Wolfenstein 3D Editorials") section in the forums to that page.

In the next couple of weeks I'll be rearranging the Wolf 3D Projects page, as well as adding some updates regarding my projects that I'm currently undertaking (this also includes some new source code tutorials that will be available soon).

Well the past couple of days I've been making quite a few changes to the site, which involve a couple of the pages on the site as well as the on the forums. As for page changes I've removed the resources page, and placed the editors page on to the downloads page, under the heading of Wolfenstein Editors (Editors are still on one page), and the tutorials I've moved to the forums, under a new section, which I'll be telling you about shortly...

Forum Changes

Like I was talking about before there's numerous changes been done, as for the forums; I added a new section called "Tutorial Assistance", which'll consist of two forums:

  1. Haasboy Software Wolfenstein 3D Editorials
  2. Community Editorials

Other Updates and Changes

I addition to the several updates made to the site I've finally started the coding work for my upcoming mods/games, all of which I'm still deciding what changes I'll be implementing into all of them. I've still got far to go until I'm actually finished with all of them, but for the mean time, please take the time decide in this months poll "What do you think of the new Wolf4SDL engine?". Untill next time...

For those who've recently been trying to access my site, and only to discover that it is under maintenance, well it was only a result of stupid carelessness on my behalf - after altering a couple pages I forgot to turn the site's maintenace warning off, any way it is now back on-line. But please take note that it will occasionally be down for maintenance at various intervals from next week Monday, as I'll be on leave and I'll be able to update the site more often. In the next two weeks I'll be updating the resources page, adding more tutorials for people who enjoy editing the source codes, and I'll be making changes to several other pages - either removing/altering and adding content, which will include information on my upcoming mods, as I've recently started editing the source code again and am now goin to start experimenting with the new Wolf4SDL code (which we can thing "Ripper" from Chaos-software for creating, as well as iD Software for the orginal game), I cann't wait to see what other people in the Wolfenstein 3D Community have created as a result of this new engine...

In the next couple of weeks the site's database is going to be upgrade, with a couple extra either being added or altered. For this reason the site may occassionally during the next couple of weeks down for maintaince while the site is being upgraded...

It's been a while since I've posted some news or did any big updates to the site, I'm keeping the Monthly poll up that I had the last two months, so that I can really see which mod - should actually start with and release first - that is if I can compile the new WOLF4SDL source code, which was released by Ripper, last year December.

The New WOLF4SDL code is similiar to the WOLF4GW code but a lot more stable even allowing the game to be played on Windows XP/Vista without the help of other external programs. If you want more info on this you can either visit DieHard Wolfers Forum ("http://diehardwolfers.areyep.com") or Chaos Software ("http://chaos-software.de.vu").

Well until next time, enjoy Wolfing...

Merry Christmas to all and a happy new Year, and as you can see I've finally decided to post something, it's been a while since the last post, but anyway...as you can see the poll for this month is which mod of the three that I'm currently busy undertaking, which one you're anticipating that most for, and so far it looks like that F.A.D.E.D. is winning. As to which one I release first, well it all depends on which mod I finish the graphics work first for.... In the new year the site will be down for a week or two while a perform some routine maintainence, and even possibly a new look...
